The people behind CEECOur story
Who We Are
CEEC International was established in 2011 by a group of mining industry leaders who saw the need for a platform to communicate the latest technical findings on efficient comminution practice. In 2022 it rebranded to reflect a broader purpose: not only reducing energy consumption in comminution, but water consumption, tailings management and greenhouse gas emissions.
Its mission is to accelerate the adoption of eco-efficient minerals and metals production practices. CEEC is an independent not-for-profit registered charity, led by volunteer networks for the benefit of society, with no commercial interest in any technology or outcome.
Working with mining companies and technical experts, CEEC develops roadmaps, reports, case studies, frameworks and tools, grounded in real operating experience and designed to support decision-making at the site and corporate level. Everything CEEC produces is independent, openly accessible and built around the actual challenges companies face.
